In all the following conditions the Seller is Odlings MCR Ltd t/a B I Crawshaw & Co, and the Buyer is the company, partnership, sole trader or individual purchasing goods from the Seller. The statutory rights of the Buyer are not affected by these conditions.

1. General

All orders are accepted subject to the following terms and conditions.

2. Scope

These conditions shall prevail over any inconsistent terms or conditions referred to in the Buyer’s order or correspondence unless agreed in writing by both parties. Any conflicting conditions are excluded.

3. Quotations and Prices

Quotations do not constitute an offer. The Seller may withdraw or amend quotations at any time before accepting the Buyer’s order. Unless otherwise stated, quotations are valid for 10 days. Prices charged will be those at the time of despatch and may change without notice due to cost increases, including acquisition or carriage.

4. Non Account Holders

Payment must be made in sterling via cash, major debit or credit cards, or bank transfer prior to despatch.

5. Credit Account Holders

Terms are strictly 30 days from invoice date. Invoices are issued on despatch. Payments may be made by cash, major cards or bank transfer. The Seller reserves the right to demand full immediate payment if terms are exceeded and charge interest at 3 percent above the Bank of England base rate until cleared.

6. New Accounts

Trade customers may apply for a credit account. Two trade references and one bank reference are required. Until approved, orders will be processed as non account transactions.

7. Credit

All contracts are subject to the Seller being satisfied with the Buyer’s creditworthiness. The Seller may withhold goods until all outstanding monies are paid in full.

8. Retention of Title

Ownership of goods remains with the Seller until payment is received in full.

9. Goods Title

Unless otherwise agreed, goods are at the Buyer’s risk once delivered to the Buyer or the Buyer’s vehicle.

10. VAT

VAT is applicable in accordance with UK legislation at the tax point date.

11. Delivery

The Seller will use best endeavours to despatch goods promptly and adhere to estimated delivery dates but cannot guarantee this. Time is not of the essence unless expressly agreed in writing.

12. Contract

These terms apply on the understanding that any contract is between the Seller and the Buyer only.

13. Advice and Information

All advice and information provided by the Seller, verbally or in writing, is given in good faith and without liability.

14. Liability

The Seller is not liable for defects in quality, nature or condition of goods unless a written claim is submitted within 48 hours of delivery.

15. Claims

Claims for short delivery or transit damage must be noted on the carrier’s receipt at the time of delivery and reported to the Seller within three days.

16. Force Majeure

The Seller is not liable for delays or losses due to events outside its control, including acts of God, riots, strikes, accidents, breakdowns, shortages of labour, materials or transport, or other unforeseen circumstances.

17. Notices

Any written notice is deemed given when sent by prepaid first class post to the recipient’s principal place of business or last known address.

18. Governing Law

The contract is governed by the laws of England. Both parties submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.

19. Delivery Information

Order by 2pm for next day delivery. Orders placed after this time will be despatched the next working day. A confirmation email will be sent when the order is despatched.

All deliveries require a signature. If no one is available, the parcel will be sent to your nearest Post Office. If your parcel does not arrive by the expected date, please contact us on 0151 355 0261 between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.

20. Damages

All damages must be reported within 2 hours of delivery by phone or email. Photographs must be taken at the time the damage is identified for courier claims.

21. Returns

If you are unhappy with your purchase, please call 0151 355 0261 before returning the item. Returns must be made within 14 days of receipt, unopened, unused, and with all seals, labels and packaging intact. Proof of purchase is required. Items must be returned safely and adequately. Delivery charges are non refundable. Return postage costs must be paid by the Buyer and proof of return obtained. Refunds will be made to the original payment method.

22. Carriage Charges

  • Standard Next Day Delivery – £12.00
  • Next Day by Noon – £18.00
  • Saturday Delivery – £36.50
  • All delivery prices are subject to VAT.
  • Free delivery for orders over £250.00 (including VAT)
  • International deliveries incur an additional fee.

23. Black Friday Offer Terms

This promotional offer is subject to the terms outlined below and applies only during the Black Friday period.

  • This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer.
  • The offer applies to items that are in stock at the time of purchase.
  • The £500 threshold is based on the net order value, excluding VAT and delivery charges.
  • Delivery for orders over £500 will be charged at £24.
  • The offer applies to all products available on the Crawshaws website.
  • The promotion runs from Friday and ends on Sunday at midnight.
